Excavator Operator
We are looking for an excavator operator for earthworks and network construction on sites run by Creotec's own crews.
About the role
As an excavator operator you will work on trenches for water, sewer, gas and district heating networks. You will operate the company's own plant, as part of a close-knit construction crew, on sites in the region and - depending on the contract - away from home.
Responsibilities
- Operating an excavator on earthworks and network construction (trenching, backfilling, subgrade forming)
- Working to the set-out network routes and the design documentation
- Routine servicing and condition checks of the machine
- Complying with health and safety rules on site
Requirements
- Excavator operator licence (plant operator's logbook)
- Experience operating an excavator, ideally on network or road works
- Precision and a responsible approach to work in trenches
- Willingness to work away from home
Nice to have
- Licences for more machine types (backhoe loader, wheel loader)
- Experience building underground utility networks
- Category B / C driving licence
